Heavy-Duty Ball Mounts
CURT commercial-duty welded ball mounts are the pinnacle of the receiver-style ball mount design. They are built from CNC-formed steel and are robotically welded to be strong, clean and precisely fitted. These ball mounts have the towing power to match our class 5 hitch line, offering a weight capacity rating of 15,000 lbs. in gross trailer weight and 1,500 lbs. in tongue weight. This makes the commercial-duty ball mount a perfect fit for the heaviest trailers to hit the road, including small yacht trailers, double-axle utility trailers, toy haulers, car haulers, RVs and more.
CURT welded ball mounts come in different options of drop and rise, ranging from 3” to 8”. Each unit is equipped with a 1 1/4” trailer ball hole and features a 2 1/2” x 2 1/2” shank. To keep our class 5 ball mounts well protected, we coat each one in a durable gloss black powder coat finish. This makes them rust-resistant, scratch-resistant and UV-resistant for a long-lasting towing solution.
