Overview

Right-Angle Ball Mounts

The CURT right angle ball mount is designed to be a more ergonomic towing solution. With the end of its shank angled, this ball mount inserts into the receiver tube of your trailer hitch much easier than a standard ball mount to get you hitched up and on your way faster.

Comparable to our class 3 ball mounts, CURT right angle ball mounts feature a 2” x 2” shank and can tow up to 7,500 lbs. of gross trailer weight and 750 lbs. of tongue weight. They are excellent for hauling most utility trailers, boat trailers, campers and several types of recreational vehicle trailers, such as personal watercraft and ATV haulers. The most common use for right angle ball mounts is with our class 3 trailer hitches on full-size trucks and SUVs. Right angle ball mounts come in a range of options, offering 2”, 4” or 6” of drop. They are also able to be flipped to provide a certain amount of rise.

Like most CURT ball mounts, right angle ball mounts are CNC-formed and robotically welded to be strong and well-fitted to your trailer hitch. Each one is also mechanically descaled to create the smoothest possible surface before applying a finish of gloss black powder coating. This durable coating allows these class 3 ball mounts to be a reliable addition to your arsenal of towing equipment.
